Relationships have the power to shape us—for better or for worse. When trauma, anxiety, conflict, or life's challenges disrupt those relationships, it's easy to feel stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed. My passion is helping children, adolescents, individuals, and families strengthen those connections, heal emotional wounds, and build healthier ways of relating to themselves and one another.
As an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, I provide a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach grounded in attachment, humanistic, and family systems principles. I specialize in work with youth and teens struggling with big emotions, anxiety, depression, or behavioral issues, and parents feeling exhausted by recurring patterns at home. Every behavior tells a story. Whether your child is melting down, withdrawing, or struggling to cope, my goal isn't simply to stop the behavior—it's to understand the emotions and unmet needs beneath it so lasting change can occur.
Using evidence-based approaches including Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), play therapy, and other developmentally appropriate interventions, I tailor therapy to each client's unique needs. I also offer Christian-based therapy for those that seek it. My goal is to help families reconnect, individuals heal from trauma and emotional pain, and clients of all ages develop the confidence, resilience, and insight needed to move forward with hope.
I am passionate about helping kids and their families restore peace in their homes, and change cycles of conflict that have taken over. If you’re ready to take the next step to see your child flourish and your family reconnected, please reach out. I would love to work alongside you.
